CPIPEA 2025, Honored and Grateful!
I am deeply honored to share that I have been selected as one of the 2025 CPIEA Awardees and have been officially invited to the awards ceremony taking place in Istanbul from October 20th–23rd, 2025.
CPIEA classifies honorees across four categories—Newly Established, Small, Medium, and Large Companies—based on global submissions. Competing in the Small-Sized Company category, Sequoia Group has proudly earned this recognition. The final ranking—Gold, Silver, or Bronze—will be revealed during the awards celebration held aboard a yacht sailing the Bosphorus Strait.
Applicants were evaluated based on written submissions across six key pillars: Milestones, Leadership, Integrity, Quality, Innovation, and Giving Back to the Community (Pro Bono). To ensure fairness, all judging was conducted by independent external reviewers appointed by CPIEA. Only 18 companies from around the world were selected this year, and from East Asia, just two: one from Taiwan, and Sequoia from Korea. It appears we may be the first ever recipient from Korea, which makes this even more meaningful.
Coincidentally, October 27, 2025, marks Sequoia’s 20th anniversary. This award feels like a fitting reward for two decades of unwavering dedication, even through missteps and trial and error, as I stayed committed to our mission. I don’t know how many more years I will have the privilege of serving through Sequoia, but I promise to give my all for as long as I’m here, just as I always have.
