The University of Michigan – Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM‐SJTU JI) is a very unique and highly competitive engineering school located in Shanghai, China. JI offers a highly international education experience with its core curricula from UM. All courses are offered in English by world‐class faculty members recruited primarily from leading universities in the U.S. Students not only learn science and engineering knowledge, but also gain soft skills, such as creativity, teamwork, communication, and leadership.

 

UM-SJTU Joint Institute (JI), founded in 2006, represents a strategic global partnership between the two top universities in the US and China, University of Michigan (UM) and Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). The Chinese Government and both partner universities are fully committed to develop JI as a world-class institute for engineering education.

  Tuition Includes:
